Funeral services for Claude Adamson Jr., 67, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastors Steve McClaren and James Hays will officiate. Interment will follow in Hackberry Cemetery, Waukomis.

Claude was born July 15, 1938, in Rush Springs to Claude Andrew and Lucy Dell Stewart Adamson and passed away Saturday, March 11, 2006, at his home.

Claude graduated from Rush Springs High School in 1957 and joined the Air Force in August of that same year.

On Sept. 12, 1959, he married Linda L. Hays in Sundown, Texas. After receiving an honorable discharge in August 1963, he traveled all over the United States working as a jet mechanic for Lockeed and Lear Zeigler before coming to Vance Air Force Base. In 1974, he began work for Farmland, retiring from there after 26 years.

Claude is survived by his loving companion, Beverly Baker; two daughters, Angie Ohman and her husband, Valter, of Okeene, and Teena Adamson of Missouri; one son, Ben Adamson of Enid; a sister, Pat Adamson Hopkins of Midwest City; and six grandchildren, Lexie Huber and her husband, Michael of Maryland, Danny Mills in the Marine Corps, Charlie Kent of Kansas, Shane and Mikael Ohman of Okeene, and Josh Bell of Enid.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, two brothers and a granddaughter, Michelle Kent.
