Wesley and Mae Jette VAN HAUEN

North I O O F Cemetery


Marshall – Wesley VanHauen, 62, died Thursday at his home near Marshall. His service will be Sunday at 3:30 PM in the Marshall Christian Church with Wayne Hammar officiating. Interment will be in the North I00F Cemetery at Marshall under the direction of Abernathy Funeral Home, Crescent.

VanHauen was born May 8, 1916, at Payson. He was a farmer and a veteran of World War I I, serving as a Master Sgt. in the Air Force. He had spent most of his life in the Marshall area graduating from the Marshall high school in 1934. On June 1, 1946, he married Mae Jette Beeby in Marshall.

VanHauen was a member of the American Legion Post 167 at Marshall where he served as adjutant.

Survivors include his wife, Mae; one son, John Wesley VanHauen, Oklahoma City; one brother, Clarence, Midwest city; and two granddaughters.

Memorials may be made to the Christian Church at Marshall.
