ELIZABETH C. BROWN Funeral services for Elizabeth C. Brown, 83, of Enid will be 10 a.m. today, April 5, 2007 at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Chastine officiating. Burial will follow in North Lions Cemetery, Marshall, OK under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
Elizabeth was born Dec. 3, 1923 in Norman, OK the daughter of Fred En-meier and Elizabeth (Diehm) Enmeier and died Monday, April 2, 2007 at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.
She grew up in Norman until she was seven when the family moved to Marshall. She graduated from Marshall High School where she was a member of the band.
On July 15, 1941 she married Joel Brown in Stillwater and the couple made their home on a farm near Marshall.
Elizabeth was a member of Garland Road Baptist Church and enjoyed attending church and reading her Bible. She also liked activities such as crafts, bingo, shopping, and occasionally playing the organ at church during services. She was a devoted and caring mother to her family. Elizabeth was well known as always thinking of her family first.

Elizabeth is survived by a son, Dennis Brown of Marshall; a daughter, Jeanette Bittner of Shawnee; two grandchildren, Angelica Bittner of Plattsmouth, Neb., and Aaron Bittner and his wife Holly of Oklahoma City; one great-grandson, Ryan Bittner of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Martin Enmeier of Florida, and Irvin Enmeier and his wife Alice of North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one brother Albert Enmeier.
