Garber Cemetery


The funeral for Margaret Wilcox, 77, who died Thursday at Perry Memorial Hospital will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Perry First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Ken Wadell will officiate. Burial will follow in Garber Cemetery under the direction of Brown Funeral Home, Perry.
She was born August 11, 1914 in Guymon to Stanley and Ida Wood and moved with the family to Noble County in 1917. She attended Perry Schools. On February 18, 1940, she married Everett Wilcox at Perry. They lived in Garber for a time, then moved to Perry in 1937. She was employed with Zorba Clothing Store and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Manuel (Glenda) Terromez of Perry; one sister, Lexie "Libby" Johnson of Garber; one half sister Nita Kempka of Perry; three half brothers, Gene and Pall Wood both of Perry and Joe Wood of Tulsa; her stepmother, Ruby Wood of Perry; three grandsons and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Lung Association.
