Garber Cemetery


Garber – Rose Croix services for William J. (Bill) Honeywell, 71, were Tuesday in the Garber Christian Church with the Rose Croix team from Guthrie officiating. Funeral services were today in the same church with Rev. Edward Bridwell officiating. Burial was in the Garber Cemetery under direction of Anderson Funeral Home.

He was found dead Monday afternoon at his home, dying of an apparent heart attack.

He was born at Antelope Valley, south of Billings, and in 1903 moved to Kansas with his parents. In 1907 the family moved back to a farm three miles east and three south of Garber. He had continued to live and farm in this area.

He was a member of the Garber Christian Church and was a 32nd degree Mason.

Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Virginia); of Overland Park, Kansas; four grandchildren; one brother, Lewis Honeywell of Billings and three sisters, Mrs. Derrel (Edith) Click of Enid, Mrs. George (Lillie) Kinison of Covington and Mrs. Ruth Buchanan, Enid.
