A Celebration of Life for Linda Farr, 66, Enid, is 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Mike Sommerfeld and Mike Froese will officiate. Burial follows in Garber Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016.

Linda was born May 5, 1950, in Enid to Hugh Blaser and Dorothy (Wood) Blaser, and passed away Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Linda attended Garber Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1968. She attended NOC earning a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, where she met Fred Farr. They were married Dec. 16, 1978, in Garber. They enjoyed ten years of marriage before he passed away in 1989. Her nursing career took her to Richland Hills, Texas, where she worked as a surgery nurse, and served as Director of Nurses at a nursing home in Greenville, Texas, before returning to Enid, where she worked at the Garfield County Health Department before retiring in 2012, after 21 years.

Linda was most passionate about her family. Her children and grandchildren were the most important people in her life, she never went a day without telling them I love you. She loved to sing and often sang at weddings, but singing to her babies was what she enjoyed the most. Linda had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make others laugh. She was always putting the needs of others before her own, and as her health declined, she never complained. When asked how she was doing, she would reply "Finer than frog hair".

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Freddie Farr.

Linda is survived by three daughters, Lacey Boyer and husband, Tim, of Heavener; Lindsey Farr, of Enid; Kristen Ledlow, of Enid; three grandchildren, McKenzie, Reagan, and Austin Boyer, of Heavener; two sisters, Elaine Voth and husband Dale, of Enid; Peggy Froese and husband Mike, of Enid; several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Contributions in Linda's name may be made toward funeral expenses, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

Condolences may be made and the service viewed online at www.LadusauEvans.com.
