"Debi" Raelene Chaney

May 01, 1954 - January 30, 2019

The funeral service for Debi Chaney, of Garber, will be Monday, February 4, 2019, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Garber, with Pastor Mark Hein officiating. Burial will follow in Garber Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Dugger Funeral Home in Garber.

Debi was born May 1, 1954, to Alfred King and Edith Palmer Nagel in Enid and passed away on January 30, 2019, at the age of 64, in Enid.

She graduated from Garber High School in 1972. On February 25, 1972, Debi married Mike Chaney in Garber. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Garber. Debi loved spending time with her family and friends, and she especially loved attending all the activities her grandkids were involved in and never missed a moment to tell someone how proud she was of them. She had many health issues the past several years but bravely battled everything that came her way.

Debi is survived by her husband, Mike of Garber; daughter, Christi Schovanec and husband Travis of Garber; son, Scott Chaney and wife Jennifer of Medford; grandchildren, Braden, Halie and Carson Schovanec and Taryn, Dylan, Brogan, Clinton and Kendyl Chaney; brothers, Myron King, Monte King, Randy King and wife Lori, Darrin Nagel and wife Natalie, Deven Nagel and wife Angie; sister, Kathy Ramsey; sister-in-law, Kay King.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Mahlon King and Donnie Nagel; sister, Lori Nagel Carter.

Memorials may be made to Garber Fire Department or Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the funeral home acting as custodian of the funds.
