Funeral services for Mrs. Walter (Clara E.) Bentz, 72, 2023 E. Walnut, will be at 10 AM Wednesday in the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth Wade will officiate and burial will be in the Garber Cemetery.

Mrs. Bentz died in a local hospital early Monday, after a long period of ill health. She was born March 7, 1906, at Dacoma and was married to Ward Dobler, who preceded her in death.

She had lived in the Garber community most of her life and was married to Walter Bentz July 3, 1976. Mrs. Bentz was a member of the Garber Christian Church and the Eastern Star at Garber.

In addition to her husband of the home, she is survived by two sisters, Edith Gooch, Alva and Velma Scrimscher, Enid; two brothers, Ernest Gottsch, Dacoma and Vernon Gottsch, Harrison, Arkansas; two step sons, George Dobler, Wichita, Kansas, and Gaylon Bentz, Enid.
