Garber Cemetery


HENNESSEY — Funeral for Kay E. Arndt, 68, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014, at First Christian Church, officiated by the Rev. Mickey Moery. Burial will follow in Garber Cemetery under the direction of Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home.

Kay was born in Chickasha, Okla., on June 15, 1945, to Owen and Lena Thomas Graves and died Monday, May 12, 2014, at her home in Hennessey.

She married Charles “Chuck” Arndt in 1974, in Denton, Texas.

Kay is survived by her husband, Chuck of the home; two daughters, Tammy Fagan and husband Tim of Garber, and Lisa Arndt of Danville, Va.; three sons, Bill Arndt and wife Amy of Hennessey, Ben Arndt and wife Carey of Dewitt, Iowa, and Charles Arndt Jr. of Enid; two brothers, Jim Graves of Amarillo, Texas, and Melvin Graves of Borrego Springs, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Her parents preceded Kay in death.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to First Christian Church, with the funeral home serving as custodian of the funds.
