The funeral for Marna G. Anson, 75, of Garber will be 2 PM Friday at Assembly of God Church, Garber. The Rev. Barry Prock will officiate. Burial will be in Garber Cemetery. Arrangements are by Dugger Funeral Home, Garber.

She was born October 17: 1930, in Enid to John Paul and Eleanor Sharp and died Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at Highland Park Manor, Enid.

She married Harry J. Anson August 16, 1947, in Enid. She worked as a beautician and was a member of Assembly of God Church, Garber.

Surviving are one son, Harry J. Anson Jr. of Garber; one brother, Emmitt Dean Sharp of Houston; two sisters, Emma Jean Pharris and Deanna Jeter, both of San Antonio; three grandchildren; and five great – grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Harry, she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to American Cancer Society.

Garber – The funeral for Harry J. Anson Sr., 70, will be at 11 AM Thursday at the Assembly of God in Garber. The reverends Emmett Sharp and Gene Anoatubby will officiate. Burial will be in the Garber Cemetery under direction of Sisson Funeral Home, Garber.

He was born September 6, 1925, near Perry to Roy L. and Nora Blanche Wendel Anson and died Monday, December 18, in 1995, at Hulbert. He attended school in Tonkawa.

On August 16, 1947, he married Marna Sharp in Garber. He was a member of the Assembly of God at Garber and the Pasadena Gospel Temple in Pasadena, Texas.

Anson was a commercial welder.

Surviving are his wife, Marna of the home; one son, Harry Jr. of Garber; one brother, Marion L.; Four sisters, Juanita Eudaily of Blackwell, Bea Ingram of Bakersfield, California, Betty Sanderson of Yukon and Maude Jeter of Newkirk; three grandchildren; and one great – grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Heart Division.
