A Celebration of life service for Phillip Meier, age 68, of Garber, will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Garber with Pastor Mark Hein officiating. Burial will follow in Garber Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Phillip was born May 10, 1955 in Enid, to Leroy and Jean (Hayes) Meier and passed away September 21, 2023 in Garber. Phillip grew up in Garber, graduating from Garber High School. He married the love of his life, Jane Clifford on August 16, 1991 in Copan, Oklahoma. He worked a few jobs before he started farming with his dad for 35 years until ill health took over.

Phillip loved muscle cars and owned several over the years; he also enjoyed fishing, and driving in the dirt on the back roads, and having a good time. For a short time, they raised painted horses. Nothing could compare to the birth of his son Ryan, which was the best thing to ever happened to him.

Phillip is preceded in death by his parents; son, Ryan; sister, Vickie Huey; brother-in-law, Harry Huey; nephew, Shawn Huey; in-laws, Jack, and Della May Clifford; sister-in-law, Jan Allen. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jane Meier; brother, Charles (Lynette) Meier of Garber; sister, Charlene (Terry) Charles of Enid; brother-in-law, Don (Judy) Clifford of Bartlesville; sister-in-law, D'Ana (Larry) Dunn of Garber; special "step daughter", Amy Strick of Newport News, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Phillip's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Immanuel Lutheran Church in Garber with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.

Condolences may be made, memories shared, services viewed online at www.ladusauevans.com.
