Saturday, September 22nd, 1962 - Tuesday, March 5th, 2024

Funeral services for Charles Meier, age 61, of Garber, will be 10:00 am, Monday, March 11, 2024, at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Garber with Pastor Mark Hein officiating. Burial will follow in Garber Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Charles was born September 22, 1962, in Enid, to LeRoy and Jean (Hayes) Meier, and passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024 in Enid.

He graduated from Garber High School in 1980. He married Lynette Mott on September 4, 1984 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Garber. They made their permanent home in Garber where they raised their two children, Miste and Curtis. He worked at the Garber Coop for over 30 years, and later worked for Garfield County, District 2. He raised crops and cattle on the family farm in Garber as well.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Jean Meier; sister, Vicki Huey; brother, Phillip Meier; nephew, Ryan Meier, and nephew, Shawn Huey. He is survived by his wife, Lynette, of the home in Garber; two children, Miste Munden, of Garber; son Curtis Meier, of Garber; four grandchildren, Amelia and Peyton and Slater Munden, and Jason Meier, of Garber; sister, Charlene Charles and husband Terry, of Enid; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
