There will be no service for Billy W. Williams, 76, of Enid, at his request. Cremation arrangements are by Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in Enid Cemetery.

He was born March 30, 1931, in Enid to Hubert and Josephine Roark Williams and died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at Highland Park Nursing Home.

He grew up and attended school in Enid and worked at the eastside Safeway. He lived in Dallas, Houston, and then Baytown, Texas, for 20 years before moving to Enid in 2002.

Surviving are two sons Michael of Phoenix, and Jeff of Las Vegas; three brothers, Larry and Charles, both of Enid, and Don of Mustang; and two sisters, Thelma Zelnicek of Enid and Debbie Crisson of Waukomis.

He was preceded in death by one son and two sisters.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Enid SPCA.
