Mildred Utsler

Mildred Utsler, 85, longtime Enid resident, died Thursday in a Mooreland nursing center. Her funeral will be at 2 PM Monday in the Chapel of Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Wade officiating. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery.

Mrs. Utsler was born at Maple Grove, Missouri, February 9, 1902, to Charles and Mary Schlottach. She attended school in Missouri and moved with her family to Waukomis in 1915, then to Enid in 1920, where she worked as a lab technician for Swiss Creamery.

She and Donald Utsler were married in 1927. He preceded her in death in 1929. Mrs. Utsler was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

She is survived by two brothers, Carl Schlottach of Enid and Edwin Schlottach of Lawton. A sister and three brothers died earlier.

The casket will be open until service time and remain closed after the service.
