The graveside service for Mary E. Umbarger, 89, of Wakita, will be 2 PM Wednesday at Enid Cemetery. The Rev. Bob Smith will officiate. Arrangements are by Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

She was born August 18, 1915, in Enid to William and Arminda Jane Nolan Hutchinson and died Saturday, April 9, 2005, at Wakita Community Health Center.

She graduated from Enid High School.

She married Earl Earnest Umbarger in 1942.

She worked for Earl Butts cafeteria on Phillips University campus for 10 years.

Surviving are her two children, George Ott of Wakita and Marilyn Honeyman of Enid; eight grandchildren; 19 great – grandchildren; and a great – great – grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, three step-sisters and a granddaughter.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Wakita Community Health Center.
