Funeral service for Frank Elwood Shipley, 92, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Cordry-Gritz Funeral Home, Hennessey, officiated by Rev. Mickey Moery. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery. Frank was born in Enid on Oct. 1, 1920, to Melvin Louis and Eva Maud Green Shipley and died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center, Enid. Frank graduated from Hitchcock High School and served during WWII.

He married Donna Maxine Yarnall in Las Vegas, Nev., on June 28, 1942.
Frank is survived by his wife, Donna; four daughters, Darlene Stanley and husband Kent of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Helen Wehrenberg and husband Kenneth of Loyal, Tami Pekrul and husband Terry of Mannford, Tena Engel and husband Gus of Redding, Calif.; one son, Frank Shipley Jr. and wife Pam of Hennessey; one brother, Rollin R. Shipley of Enid; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Frank was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one great-granddaughter.
