Funeral services for Mrs. Earl J. Ruth, 79, 631 E. Broadway, will be at 3:30 PM Saturday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John H. Bennett officiating. She will be buried in the Enid Cemetery.

Mrs. Ruth who died Wednesday afternoon was born in North English, Iowa, and moved with her parents to Enid in 1900.

She and Earl J. Ruth were married on January 12, 1942. Mrs. Ruth had worked as a seamstress in several department stores here for a number of years.

She was a member of the Central Christian Church, the RSC Study Club, the Rebekah Lodge No. 21, the Past Noble Grand Club and LEA.

In addition to her husband of the home she is survived by a son, Carl Wagner of Los Angeles, California, and two grandchildren; and one great – granddaughter. Another son and a sister died before Mrs. Ruth.
