Clarence A. Ruth Services Friday

Funeral services for Clarence Albert Ruth, 82, who died June 11 in an Enid hospital, will be Friday, 2 PM in Darnall Chapel with Rev. Henry Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery.

Ruth came to Freedom in 1917 from Rich Hill, Missouri. He enlisted in the Army during World War I, came to Enid in 1929 and has lived here since. A retired laborer, he was a member of the Baptist Church and American Legion Post No. 4.

Survivors are his widow, Ellen; five daughters, Mrs. John Green, Enid; Mrs. Pearl Galusha, Mrs. Mary Lewman, Rev. Viola McIver and Mrs. Raymond (Norma) Brooks all of Enid; three sons, Arthur Wilson, LaMar, Colorado, Alvin Wilson, Enid, and Jim Wilson, Altus; four sisters, Grace Stafford, San Diego, California, Clara Bass, Buffalo, Florence Bass, Blackwell, and Suzie Bass, Blackwell; two brothers, Ray, Blackwell, and Claude, Kansas City, Kansas; 18 grandchildren and 11 great – grandchildren.
