Benjamin “Benj” Todd Robinson, 37, was born October 31, 1974 in Enid to Bill and Cindi (Painter) Robinson. He died suddenly October 2, 2012 of a heart attack in Enid. Ben married Lita Walkingbull with whom he had one child. They later divorced. He was C.L.E.E.T. certified, a certified lawn technician and a certified fitness trainer. His most recent employment was Athey Lumber Company and Bekins Moving and Storage.

He was an excellent athlete, playing all sports, including baseball at Enid High School and Enid American Legion. Benj graduated from Enid High School in 1993.

Benj had an adventuresome spirit and everyone he met was a friend. He was an avid OU football fan and loved fishing and the outdoors. His greatest love, however, was his daughter, Autumn Joy, whom he raised.

Surviving Benj are his daughter, Autumn Joy, of the home; father, Bill Robinson and mother, Cindi (Painter) Robinson, both of Enid; brother, Zac and wife, Heather and their children, Jace and Xin Ai Robinson, of Germany; grandmothers, Frances Painter and Joy Robinson, both of Enid; uncles and aunts, Jim Painter and wife, Sandy of Enid; Sarylyn Sanders of Texas; Buddy Plummer and wife, Linda of Broken Arrow; great uncles and aunts, Marj Hohnbaum and husband, Cec of North Little Rock, AR; Darlene Hillery of Enid; Roberta Kirkhart of Los Angeles, CA and many friends too numerous to count.

He was preceded in death by infant brother and sister, Beau Victor and Kacey Joy; grandfathers, William V. Robinson and Jim Painter; uncle, Richard Hillery; great-grandparents, Jess and Sarah Painter; Ed and Dru Hillery; and Robert and Lela Kirkhart.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, October 5, 2012 at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Grayson Lucky officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Memorials can be made in Ben’s name to the American Heart Association or Multiple Sclerosis Society through the funeral home.
