September 2, 1885 - January 5, 1968 Funeral services for Walter Lee Roach, who died at his home Friday, will be conducted at 3:30 PM Monday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. James L. Christensen will officiate with burial to follow in the Enid Cemetery.

He was born in Kansas and came to Oklahoma at the opening of the Cherokee Strip and settled at Kingfisher. He later moved to Enid.

He was married to the former Hazel Strong in 1906. He was a member of the Enid Fire Department for more than 19 years. He was a member of Central Christian church.

He is survived by his widow, Hazel, of the home, 209 N. Van Buren; several nieces and nephews include Don and Victor Roach, both of Enid.

He was preceded in death by one son, Gordon, in 1942.
