A Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Jaclyn L. Recknagel, 79, of Enid, will be Saturday, December 26, 2015, 2:00 PM at the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Susan Southall officiating. Interment will follow in the Enid Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ladusau-Evans from 4 to 5 PM on Sunday.

Jaclyn was born November 10, 1936 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Jennings Weatherholt and Pauline Armstrong Weatherholt Bright and passed away December 23, 2015. She was a graduate of Phillips University and received a BS degree in accounting. She was employed by OG&E until her retirement and also part time receptionist for Weight Watchers. Jaclyn was a member of First United Methodist Church, Integris Bass Baptist Hospital Auxiliary, The Quilt Guild and the TBC Investment Club. She enjoyed quilting, making quilts for Mercy Oncology and quilting groups at First United Methodist Church and The Mennonite Church. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and a friend to all.

Survivors include four children, Tammy Ray and her husband Jesse of Fort Smith, AR, Karl Recknagel and his wife Dayla of Enid, Chris Recknagel and his wife Sharon of Mustang, OK and Erin Recknagel of Yukon, OK, eight grandchildren, Josh Ray and his wife Sarah, Jacob Ray and his wife Haley, Kyle Recknagel, Blake Recknagel, Corban Recknagel, Cade Recknagel, Camden Recknagel and Caitlyn Recknagel and one great-grandchild, Hudson Ray and a former husband, Edwin Recknagel. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bob and Larry.

Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church or OMRF, cancer division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home custodian of the funds. Online condolences may be made and the service can be viewed at www.ladusauevans.com.
