Esther Maurine NEWINGHAM

Esther Maurine Newingham departed this life Wednesday Feb. 19, 2003 at Pikes Peak Hospice.

Esther was born in Princeton, miissouri C. V. and Emma Arnold on August 24, 1912. At the age of 2 she and her family moved to Enid where she resided until June 1992 when she made Colorado Springs her home.

After graduating from Enid High School she went to work for SW Bell Telephone Co. and continued in their employment until her marriage to Ralph Finley Newingham in 1938. When Ralph died at the early age of 36 she returned to the telephone Co. and worked until her retirement .

Esther was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, three sisters, and her son-in0law, Charles L. Martin.

She is survived by her two daughters, Judith Willcox; ans Sharon Martin of Colorado Springs, five grandchildren, Eric and Jeff Martin; Todd Martin; Trevor Martin and Tiffany Martin-Mays; and five great granchildren.
