Earl J. Newingham

Services are pending for Earl J. Newingham, 75, 330 East Cherry , long time resident of Enid who died Thursday evening in a local hospital.

He was born in Green County, Iowa in 1887 and moved with his parents to a farm southwest of Enid when he was 8 years old. He lived there until he married Beulah Meek, July 23, 1911 at Marshall, and has made his home in Enid since.

He was a member of the First Evangelical United Brethren Chucrch. At the time of his death he was working as a custodian at Phillips University.

Survivors include his widow Buelah of the home, One daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Earlene) Jones of Fort Worth, Tx. , two brothers, Curtis Newingham of East Molina, IL, and Roy Newingham of Bartonville, IL.

Funeral services will be at the Fossett Funeral Home and burial will be in the Enid Cemetery.
