Funeral services for Estelle Bee Musser, 91, of Enid, will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 9, 2009, at Central Christian Church Chapel with Rev. John P. McLemore officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Bee was born Feb. 24, 1918, in Caldwell, Kan., to Frank and Bess Bee Wiedeman and died early Wednesday morning, March 4, 2009.

She was raised and educated in Caldwell, Kan. She earned a bachelor of fine arts degree from Phillips University. She taught drama and speech at Longfellow Junior High for seven years.

She married William Wesley Musser Jr. Jan. 19, 1947, in Enid. They lived in Enid and were married over 50 years. He preceded her in death in 2000.

She was a homemaker and a member of Central Christian Church, Junior Welfare League, and PEO, Chapter DO.

Bee is survived by her daughter, Mary Bee Musser Clark and husband Dr. Mel Clark of Oklahoma City; one son, James W. Musser of Enid; two granddaughters, Emily Bee Clark Payne and Elizabeth Bee Musser.

In addition to her husband, Bee was preceded in death by one brother, Carson.

Memorials may be made in Bee’s memory to Alzheimer’s Association or Central Christian Church with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
