Funeral service for Mrs. George E. Grove, 69, 2825 W. Willow, who died late
Tuesday in an Oklahoma City hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Central Christian Church.
Dr. Lloyd Lambert and the Rev. James A. Underwood will officiate. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery. The Henninger-Allen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Grove was born in Jennings, Louisiana and moved to Enid with her parents in 1914. She graduated from high school here.
She and George E. Grove were married here December 22, 1926. He died July 3, 1976.
Mrs. Grove was a member of the Central Christian Church, the Christian Women's Fellowship and the Glenwood Neighbors Home Extension Club. She is survived by a son, Steve Grove of Enid; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Rilla) Cobb of Ponca City; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Everett (Grace) Garnett of Enid and Mrs. D.R. (vivan) Parr of Greeley, Colorado; and a brother, Harry Sinderson of Enid. Another brother and a sister died earlier."
