Graveside services for Joyce McDowell, 61, will be at 10 AM Wednesday in the Enid Cemetery with the Rev. Marvin Goodpasture officiating. Burial is under the direction of Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

McDowell, 502 W. Pine, died Monday in a local hospital. She was born February 2, 1928, in Ames, to Waldo T. and Agnes McDowell, grew up in the Ames community and lived there until 1923, when she moved to Enid.

She was a member of Ames Christian Church. Survivors include three sisters; Glenna L. Simpson, Helena, Montana, Veta I. Muns, San Antonio, Texas and Donna R. Hammock, Enid; two brothers, Waldo McDowell, Fairview and Eddie McDowell, North Enid.

The family will receive visitors at 79 Candlewood in North Enid. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundations cancer division, with the funeral home serving as custodian.
