The funeral for Jack Buster Loughman, 86, of Enid, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Steve Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

He was born June 7, 1920, in Enid to Charles and Linnie Ingraham Loughman and died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007.

He was raised in Enid and graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1939. He served in the Army during World War II in Puerto Rico. He married Mamie Yocham Aug. 18, 1943, in Enid. He farmed and worked for Walker Electric for over 60 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday school. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 1141 for over 55 years and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2270.

Surviving are his wife Mamie; daughter, Pat Douglass of Enid; one son, Jack David Loughman of Los Gatos, Calif.; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by seven sisters and one brother.

Funeral services for Mamie M. Yocham Loughman, 85, of Enid, will be 10 AM Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

Mamie was born October 29, 1921, in Enid to James Daniel Yocham and Bertha B. Lovelace Yocham and passed away Saturday, August 11, 2007, at The Commons Methodist Home.

She attended Adams Elementary, Longfellow Junior High, and graduated from Enid high school with the Class of 1939.

She married the love of her life, Jack B. Loughman, at University Christian Church on August 18, 1943. He passed away February 7, 2007. They were married 64 wonderful years and blessed with two children, Jack David (J. D.) Loughman and Patricia (Pat) Ann Douglass.

Mamie was very active in her children's lives. She was a Boy Scout Den Mother, Bluebird – Camp Fire Leader, Eastern Star and very active in the Parent Teachers Association. For many years she taught Sunday school. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 50 years. Jack and Mamie loved to travel and traveled the entire United States.

Survivors include two children, Jack (J.D.) Loughman of Los Gatos, California, and Pat and her husband Stephen Douglass of Enid; five grandchildren; eight great – grandchildren; and one sister, Thelma Taylor of Beggs, Oklahoma.

They enjoyed watching their grandchildren as they grew. They were always there for many of their activities or running one to an appointment or practice. Mamie lovch to cook for them.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one sister, Georgia Tipton; and one brother, Arnold Yocham.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association and Calvary Baptist Church with Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.

We will all miss her greatly in the legacy in which she left for us to strive to accomplish.
