Funeral services for Charles R. Lavicky Sr., age 95, will be Sunday, October 16, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Rev. Don Tines will officiate. Burial will follow at the Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements made by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

He was born November 3, 1909 in Enid to John L. Lavicky and Frances Janousek and passed away Thursday, October 13, 2005 at St. Mary's Regional Hospital. He attended Glenwood Elementary, St. Joseph School and Enid High School. He married Alma Thielen on March 24, 1932 in Perry, OK. She passed away October 10, 1995. He farmed in the Garber and Okemah area and was a custom harvester. He started Lavicky Construction in 1946 and in 1960 he started Western Farm Service.

He is survived by his children, Frances and Ernest Schulz of Wheatland, OK, Charlie and Helga Lavicky of Enid, Louis and Stella Lavicky of Cherokee, Louise and Jim Coleman of Enid, Betty Chodrick of Springfield, MO, Pat and Larry Bixler of Little Rock, AR, Lydia and Jeff Turner of Marlow, Nancy and Henry Buchholz of Lewisburg, TN, Harvey Lavicky of Enid, Vernie Lavicky of Enid, Rose and Bill Longacre of Marlow, OK, Julie and Charlie Cagle of Enid and David and Suzanne Lavicky of Cherokee; 44 grandchildren, 86 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Louis.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Circle of Love or OMRF with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home as custodian of the funds. Condolences may be sent to the family at ladusauevans.com.
