Funeral for Pearl F. Keeton, 85-year-old Enid, Okla., resident, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Clarence Glaze will officiate. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery.

Pearl was born July 10, 1929, in Reed, Okla., to James and Lenora (Robertson) Langford and died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2014, at Greenbrier Nursing Home.

Pearl attended school in Fredrick and Enid.

On Dec. 17, 1949, she married Robert E. Keeton in Enid, where the couple made their first home.

They moved to Colorado Springs, Colo., in 1958, where she continued her career as an optician. She worked for American Optical and several Opthamologists offices.

She retired in 1992, and re-settled in Enid. She later lived at Burgandy Place and then Greenbrier Nursing Home. When she still lived at home, she liked remodeling and working on her home. She also enjoyed traveling to visit relatives across the country.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Keeton of Denver, Colo., and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded by her parents, husband, Robert, and 11 brothers and sisters.
