Roy Wilber Jeffries dies after a short illness
Roy Wilber Jeffries, 65, died at his home at 116 South Seventh about 7 p.m. Thursday after a short illness.
Born near Hennessey he attended school near Dover and moved to Enid 24 years ago. He was a interior decorator and until recently was employed by the Youngblood Hotel.

He was a veteran of W W I and a member of IOOF lodge of Enid and the Methodist church of Hennessey.

Surviving are his wife Eunice; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Ridour and Shirley Pritchard, both of Oklahoma City; three sisters; Mrs Maud Lawer, Guthrie; Mrs. Elsie Osborne of Enid; Mrs. Dal Taure of Hennessey; a brother George Jeffries of Enid; Six grandchildren; two sisters preceded him in death.

Funeral arrangments are by Darnell Funeral Home.
