Funeral services for Eugene Joseph Hoffman, age 47, of Oklahoma City will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2001 at Ladusau Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marvin Goodpasture officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau Evans Funeral Home. He was born to M.D. and Irene Semrad Hoffman and died at St. Michael Hospital in Oklahoma City. He attended North Enid schools and graduated from Enid High School. He enlisted in the U S Navy and served 18 years. He was an electirican by trade. Survivors include his wife Frances of Oklahoma City; his father M. D. Hoffman of Enid; two stepsons, John Sanders of Oklahoma City and Charles Sanders of Oklahoma City; a stepdaughter Kathy Sanders of Prescott AZ.; two brothers Michael Hoffman of Enid and Ronald Hoffman of Tampa, FL.; a sister Laura Brode of Dallas; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Gene also had a biological daughter, Meghan Nichole (Hoffman)Johnson born in 1982 with his 2nd wife, Connie Sumter. Meghan was later adopted by her step father, Andrew Johnson.

His mother and grandparents preceded him in death.
