Mark HENSLEY
Services for Mark A. Hensley, 30, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 1984 in the Faith American Lutheran Church with the Rev. Terry Cassell and Dr. L. G. Everett officiating.

Hensley died Friday evening January 6, 1984 in an automobile accident south of Crescent.

He was born April 13, 1953 at Quantico Va., and parents moved to Enid when he was very young. Hensley graduated from Enid High School in 1971. After graduation, he attended Bethany Lutheran College in Lindsborg, Kansas where he graduated with highest honors in 1975.

Hensley had been a resident of California and Chicago before returning to Enid about a year ago where he worked at the Enid State School in the Special Services Division. He was an author and had several stories and poems published. Hensley was a member of the Faith American Lutheran Church. His survivors include his mother, Mrs. Bill McNeill of Enid; his father, G. A. Hensley of Guam; two step brothers Dale Mc Neill of the home and Dean McNeill of Ada; his paternal grandmother , Mrs. Mae Page Hensley of Logansville Georgia.Memorial contributions may be made to Faith American Lutheran Church. The church and the funeral home will act as custodians of the funds.

Burial will be in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Henninger Allen Funeral Home.
