ENID, Okla. — A service of remembrance and celebration of life for Maurita L. Daniels, 84, of Enid, will be Wednesday, July 30, 2014, 2 p.m. at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with the Revs. Jim Edmison and Gary Miller officiating. Interment will follow at the Enid Cemetery under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Maurita was born March 17, 1930, in Enid, Okla., the daughter of Vaughn and Mary Belle Inglish McClane, and passed away July 25, 2014, at her residence. She was a graduate of Carrier High School in 1948. She was united in marriage to Dale Daniels Sept. 22, 1950, in Enid, Okla. Maurita was employed for several years with Southwestern Bell. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Ladies’ Circle. Her family was the most important thing in her life and she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling with her family, especially to Colorado.

Survivors include her husband, Dale; three daughters, Denise Morris and her husband, Richard of Enid, Carla Parriott and her husband, Bill of Enid and Sandy Peoples and her husband, James of Enid; a son, Steven Daniels and his wife Amy, of Edmond, Okla.; 10 grandchildren, Colby and Jordan Morris, Erin Engel, Alex Parriott, McClane, Nathan and Aaron Daniels, Korie Holmes, Spencer and Trevor Peoples; one great-grandson, William Engel; and a sister-in-law, Gerry Daniels. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Circle of Love with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home custodian of the fund. Condolences may be made online at ladusauevans.com.
