The funeral for Carlan Clyde Crawford, 73, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Carl Roberts will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery.

He was born Oct. 6, 1934, in Clinton to A.C. and Lena Mae Whitis Crawford and died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008, in Enid.

He graduated from Enid High School and attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. He graduated from Phillips University with a degree in business administration.

He married Sandra Gail Sanders Dec. 24, 1960, in Kremlin. He managed Royal Crown Bottling Co. in Enid for six years and worked 29 years for Sears and Roebuck, retiring in 1997. He was a founding member of Harvest Time Worship Center, where he kept financial records. He served as chairman and treasurer of Camps Farthest Out and also served on the board of Central Assembly of God.

Surviving are his wife, Sandra, of the home; one son, Duwayne Douglas Crawford of Newcastle; one daughter, Anita C. Brown of Enid; two brothers, Durwood D. Crawford of Dallas and A. Gail Crawford of Houston; and six grandchildren.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Harvest Time Worship Center.
