Funeral services for Sandra Joyce Brown Coup, 71, Enid, will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Noon in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Pastor Steve McClaren officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Enid Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Sandy, as her friends called her, was born in Enid on May 28, 1944, the daughter of Clarence and Lillie Mae Baggett and achieved her heavenly invitation to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Enid. She attended the Enid School System, graduating from Enid High School with the class of 1964. She worked for various places in Enid. Sandy married Richard E. Brown on July 13, 1963 in Enid. To this union, a daughter, the late, Joyce Lynn Brown was born.

Sandy had an avid love of painting and writing poems, needle work and everything about cats.

On September 6, 2003,, Sandy and Clarence “Jack” Coup were married at Grace Bible Church in Enid. They made their home in Enid and enjoyed singing country and gospel (Karaoke) at nursing homes in the Enid Community.

Sandy leaves behind her husband, Clarence “Jack” Coup of the residence; stepsons Jackie Coup of Florida, John Coup of Florida, Jeff (Pam) Coup of Enid; Jimmie (Kathy) Coup of Enid; ten step-grandchildren, several step-great grandchildren, many friends including special friends, Nelda, Mable, and Carolyn whom she loved and “Sissy”,her cat, whom Sandy loved to have around.

Sandy was preceded in passing by her parents, husband Richard, daughter, Joyce, and step-daughter, Joyce Anderson.

The family has selected, Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sandy’s memory to Grace Bible Church in Enid. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
