Larry Vinson Coleman

The funeral for Larry Vinson Coleman, 54, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Stephen A.M.E. Church. The Rev. Bonell Fields will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery. Arrangements are by Russworm Funeral Home.

He was born Feb. 8, 1952, in Enid to Lorenzo Coleman Sr. and Thelma Jo Pitts and died Thursday, July 6, 2006, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.

He grew up and attended school in Enid, graduating from Enid High School. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. After being discharged from the Army, he returned to Enid, enrolled and graduated from Okmulgee Tech. He was a member of A.M.E. Church.

Surviving are two brothers, Nolan Pitts of Hampton, Va., and Lorenzo Coleman of Atlanta; and two sisters, VeEsta McClendon of Oklahoma City and Berenda Coleman of Hampton, Va.
