The funeral for Josephine L. Belcher Christopher, 81, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grayson Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Norris Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery. Arrangements are by Russworm Funeral Home of Enid.

She was born June 4, 1926, in Enid to Martin Luther and Bessie Belcher and died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007.

She lived in Enid all her life. She attended Lincoln University in Jefferson, Mo. She married Earl Borden after graduating from high school, and later she married Glenn Christopher. She was employed at Young Blood Hotel for a number of years. She worked at Enid State School for 10 years. She worked as a licensed practical nurse and retired from Integris Bass Baptist Health Center after 15 years. She was a lifetime member of Grayson Missionary Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Marcus Christopher of Dallas; two daughters, Audrey Jerijean Bradden and Kimberly Christopher, both of Enid; two brothers, Paul Belcher of Canoga Park, Calif., and Cordell Belcher of Wichita, Kan.; one sister, Barbara Lewis of Milwaukee, Wis.; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn, three brothers and one sister
