The funeral for Donna C. Chance, 79, of Enid, will be 1 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Pat Hoerth will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

She was born May 12, 1928, in Potwin, Kan., to Charles Morris and Hannah Dora Weber McCarty and died Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at Mercy Hospital, Oklahoma City, after a brief illness.

She was raised in Kansas, graduating from Wichita North High School.

She married Harold A. Chance April 15, 1946, in Marion, Kan. He died June 6, 2003.

She worked for Dr. Karns and later worked for Department of Human Services. She was an administrative assistant at the time of her death. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Medical Assistants Association and Beta Sigma Phi.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathryn Crenshaw of Enid and Susie Wilmont of Readyville, Tenn.; two sons, Don Chance of Enid and Charles Chance of Oklahoma City; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, breast division.
