Mrs. Zelma Champney Services in Kansas

Mrs. Zelma Champney, 53, Topeka, Kansas, died early Monday morning in a Topeka hospital after a short illness.

A native of Hutchinson, Kansas, she moved to Topeka in 1951 from Enid and had lived there since. She had lived in Enid for some time before moving to Topeka.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM Wednesday in Topeka. The body will be brought to Enid Wednesday evening to lie in state at the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Thursday until 1:30 PM. Burial will be at 2 PM in the Enid Cemetery.

Survivors include her widower, Bud of the home in Topeka; one son, Richard of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Bailey and Mrs. Marian Lancaster, both of Topeka; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Bayls and Mrs. Hazel Casterly, both of Topeka; and Mrs. Goldie Gearhard of Enid; three brothers, Tom Muir of Enid, Leo Muir of Portland, Oregon, and Sam Rosebaugh of Los Angeles, California, and three grandchildren.
