NASH, OK — Funeral services for Christopher Kelly Burnham, 55, Nash, will be held Saturday morning, August 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in Your Family Church with his father, Pastor Gene Burnham, officiating.Committal prayers and interment will follow in Enid Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors. Full military graveside rites will be conducted by the United States Navy.

Kelly was born on January 21, 1959 in Ponca City, the son of Gene and Sue Temple Burnham, and passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 31, 2014 in Oklahoma City. At an early age, he moved with his family to California and other places as his father was a preacher. They moved to Enid and Kelly graduated from Kremlin High School. He married Cynthia Jolene Clayton in Enid on March 10, 1978. Kelly served his country in the United States Navy from 1978 until his retirement in 2004 with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Kelly attended Northern Oklahoma College where he was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and National Honor Society. Kelly was affiliated with Emmanuel Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Cindy of the residence; daughters, Christina (Wyatt) Erford of Enid, Candy (Matthew) Bowen of Patagonia, Arizona, and Carrie (Rajesh) Sonnylal of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren, Trenton, Anthony, Tori, Lisi, Leslie, Bella, Hannah, and Katie-Jo; parents, Gene and Sue Burnham of Enid; sister, Lori (Rudy) Jimenez of Jones, Oklahoma. Kelly was preceded in passing by his sister, Linda Burnham Sneed. Remembrances may be shared online at www.stittsworthfuneralservices.com.
