Mrs. Nora Brewer, 89, Bethany, formerly of Enid, died Wednesday afternoon in a Bethany nursing home following a period of ill health.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 PM in Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. R. S. Bazzell officiating. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery.

Mrs. Brewer was born in Texas on March 27, 1885, and moved to Oklahoma as a young lady settling near Lawton. In December 25, 1911, she married Thomas Brewer in Lawton. They moved to Enid a short time later, making their home here until he died in 1966. She moved to Bethany where she lived until her death. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Carl White, Oklahoma City, two grandchildren; five great – granddaughters; and one sister, Mrs. Jessie Brown, Lincoln, Arkansas.
