Mrs. W. A. (Doris Cobb) Brewer died Sunday evening in a Denver, Colorado, hospital following a lingering illness. Her funeral rites will be at 2 PM Thursday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lloyd H. Lambert officiating.

Burial will be in the family plot at the Enid Cemetery. A chapter of the Daughters of the Nile will conduct a brief service before departing for the cemetery.

Mrs. Brewer was born in Ladonia, Texas, attended schools in Vernon, Texas, and later attended Baylor University.

She came to Enid in 1919, and moved to Denver in 1930. She and W. A. Brewer were married there April 8, 1949.

She was a member of the Christian Church in Denver, a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Order of Amaranth, the Nile and the Ladies' Shriners Club.

Survivors include her husband of the home in Denver; her mother, Mrs. Joe Cobb, Enid and a sister, Mrs. Guy (Fannie) Bowman, Enid.
