Funeral for Lorin R. Bratton, 71, 2714 Wagon Trail, will be at 2 PM Thursday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel, with Lendal Bolin officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery.

Bratton, who died early Monday morning, was born August 8, 1905, near Rush Springs. He was raised and attended school in Paducah, Texas.

On June 10, 1945, he married the former Fayne Cornell at Abilene, Texas. They lived in Paducah six years and moved to Plainview, Texas, where Bratton operated a service station. The Brattons moved to Enid in 1976.

Bratton was a member of the Garriott Road Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Survivors are his widow, Fayne, of the home; two sons Jackie Ray and Jimmy Wayne, both living in Paducah, Texas; a step son, Terry D. Petty, New Orleans, Louisiana; a step daughter, Mrs. Winston (Joy) Lugar, Enid; a brother, Justin Bratton, Payson, Arizona; two sisters, Mrs. J. O. (Leona) Williams, Mobeetie, Texas; and Mrs. Maude Altman, Arlington, Texas; and 12 grandchildren.
