Nettie J. Bishop

Nettie J. Bishop, 93, died Sunday in a local nursing home following an extended illness. Her funeral will be Wednesday, at 10 AM in the Chapel of the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home with the Reverend James Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery.

Mrs. Bishop was born April 25, 1883 in Indiana. She later moved with her family to Oklahoma where she married Fred Chappell. He preceded her in death in 1918.

Mrs. Bishop later married Clyde Bishop.

Mrs. Bishop was an employee of Armour andCcompany and a member of Central United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her three sons, Hallett Chappell, Clyde Chappell, and Owen Chappell all of Enid; three brothers, Fred Dillon, Illinois, William Dillon, Albert Dillonn both of Indiana.

Mrs. Bishop is also survived by one sister, Margaret Davidson, Indiana, and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, one brother, her husband, and one son.
