Ethel Berry

Mrs. A. H. (Ethel) Berry, 82, 1402 W. Elm, died suddenly and her home Friday afternoon. Her funeral rites will be at 10 AM Monday in the Chapel of the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home with the Reverend Byron Wolfe officiating. Burial will be in the Enid Cemetery.

Mrs. Berry was born December 29, 1880, in Prescott, Arkansas, and grew up there. She and A. H. (Henry) Berry were married January 1, 1919, in Prescott and lived there until the following year when they moved to Enid. They were in the retail grocery business for many years. He preceded her in death in 1968. She was also predeceased by eight brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Berry was a member of the First Methodist Church and was also a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy.

Mrs. Berry is survived by a son, George Berry of Houston, Texas, a daughter, Mrs. William (Jane) Abrams of Tulsa; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
