The funeral for Wanda M. Barnett, 80, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Henninger-Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Carroll Barnett will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 21, 1925, in Tonkawa, to Dennis F. and Edna F. Walton Cockrell, and died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, in St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

She graduated from Enid High School and attended Enid Business College. She worked as a bookkeeper at various banks. She married Carcel Barnett June 9, 1973. She retired as bookkeeper with George E. Failing Co. She attended West Side Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Carcel of the home; three daughters, Kimberlea Barnett of Stratford and Susan Barnett and Elizabeth Barnett, both of Weleetka; two sons, Ronald R. Barnett of Stratford and Lyndon Burpo of Enid; one sister, Norma Kretchmar of Medford; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, heart division.
