Funeral services for Jessie Faye Bailey, age 92 of Albuquerque, New Mexico will be 2 PM Friday. October 25, 2002 at Ladusau – Evans Chapel with Rev. Robert DeMoss officiating. Burial will follow in Enid Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

She was born July 16, 1910 in Cashion, Oklahoma to Benjamin and Lillian S. Dillingham Harman and died at her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she had resided the last four years. She was raised in Cashion where she graduated from Cashion High School. She had been in Enid since 1936. On August 4, 1928 she married Joe H. Bailey. He preceded her in death March 27, 1996.

Jessie was office manager at Kempf – Munsinger, retiring in 1986. She was a longtime member of New Hope United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter: Margie Horrigan and husband Roger of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sons, Don and wife Jackie of Durango, Colorado, Bob and wife Bobbie of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren, Michele Nightingale, Tamura Bailey Curnow, John and Sharon Bailey, Kevin Horrigan; three great – grandchildren and one great – great – grandchild, also two sisters: Ruth Wells of Edmond and Laura Boles of Purcell and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Joe, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Memorials may be made through the Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation., Cancer Division or charity of your choice.
