A Celebration of Life Service for Minnie Janie Anderson age 81 of Enid will be 10 am Thursday at the Ladusau-Evans chapel. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery under the direction Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Janie was born June 25, 1934 in Claremore, OK to Martin and Nellie Mickey Smith and passed away June 17, 2016 in the Oklahoma Heart Hospital surrounded by family and friends. She was raised in Wetumka by her grandparents Jeffrey and Addie Smith. She attended school at Eufaula Boarding School and Chilocco Indian School. She was employed at the Kremlin Café and Otoe Bingo before retiring due to health issues. She was blessed be a mother, grandmother and especially a great grandmother and a friend to many.

She is survived by her children; Linda Anderson-Graf of Nescatunga, Sequoyah Anderson and wife LaTeresa of OKC, Robert Anderson and wife Kelly of Wagoner, Quannah Harris and husband Tom of Lahoma, grandchildren; Heather Anderson Carden, Jim and Jena Harris, John and Nicole Graf, Miranda Rikli, Trey Rasco, Brock Turney, Shelbey Anderson, great grandchildren; Kylie Gaede, Madison and Jake Graf, Ziah Faw Faw, Kennedy Himes, Brennley Williams, and many other family and friends.

Janie was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, daughter Lenna Anderson and grandson Jeffrey Anderson.

Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation-Heart Division with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
