The funeral for Ruby E. Allen, 85, will be 2 PM today at Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. John Jamieson will officiate. Burial will be in Enid Cemetery.

She was born October 2, 1914, in McCook, Nebraska, to Fred C. And Sadie Belle Teeters and died Sunday, July 9, 2000.

She married Bernard C. "Jack" Allen in McCook. The couple later moved to Enid. She retired from Evans Drug Company after many years of service. She was an active member of Senior Citizens Center.

Surviving are one daughter, Betty Fredrickson of Gila bend, Arizona; one son, Dick of Rock Hill, South Carolina; one sister, Lillian Coffield of Norman; 12 grandchildren; 14 great – grandchildren; and one great – great – granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one daughter, one son, one sister and three brothers.
