The funeral service for Edward E. Abram, 71, who died Sunday at Green Meadows Nursing Home in Haysville, Kansas, will be at 10 AM Wednesday at DeVorss Flannagan – Hunt Chapel in Wichita, Kansas. The Rev. Willard Newmann will officiate. Graveside service will be at 2 PM Wednesday in Enid Cemetery. Officiating will be Jerry Abram. Burial will be under the direction of DeVorss Flannagan – Hunt Mortuary, Wichita.

Abram was born January 1, 1918, in Gracemont. He married Maxine Walters. He retired from Hennigh Inc. in Wichita where he worked as a warehouse man.

Surviving are his wife; a step – son, Gerald Heatherington of Wichita; two step daughters, Glodine Clements of Lenexa, Kansas, and Judy Dwyer of Omaha, Nebraska; two sisters, Lavada Malone of Ames and Genevieve Crow of Enid; two brothers, Bill of Wichita and Jerry of Bentonville, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Memorials may be made to the Kansas Lung Association.
